Ms Harriet Nabulo (RM, BSN; MBR, MSN-MWH; MUK)

 Nurse- Midwife, Midwifery Lecturer and clinical instructor in the Department of Nursing at Mbarara University of Science and Technology ( MUST ).

  a Mbarara University Research Training Initiative (MURTI ) fellow, a Community Midwifery PhD fellow at Mbarara University .She is  a MUST trainer and facilitator for the Community- Based Education Program. She studied the Knowledge and Practices of mothers to children under 5 on Peadiatric ward regarding Spleenomegaly for her undergraduate dissertation, The lived experience of women referred with obstetric emergencies at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital for her Master’s research report and as a MURTI fellow; is looking at the Effect of a Health- Education based intervention on Knowledge of Pregnant women regarding preeclampsia in Rural South Western Uganda. Her current research interest is to do implementation science studies that could contribute to lowering Uganda’s maternal mortality ratio.
