Centre for Remote Health
Dr Rosalie Schultz is a public health physician and GP who has worked throughout Australia’s Northern Territory for over 20 years. She now lives in Alice Springs and works for Ngaanyatjarra Health which services the Aboriginal communities on the NT/ WA border. Her research is in wellbeing, focussing on Aboriginal people’s strengths, and re-imagining relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians. Her work shows how two-way learning between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians is needed for Australia to overcome its world-leading status in Aboriginal imprisonment, excess disease burden of Aboriginal people, loss of languages, extinction of species, and greenhouse gas emissions.
