I'm Guadalupe S. García De La Torre, and I am actually the Head of the Department of Public Health of the Facultad de Medicina at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). I'm medical doctor, with Master Degree in Sociomedical Sciences with emphasis in Epidemiology, from the UNAM.
I teach for undergaduate students of medicine, the subjects: "Health Promotion in the Life Cycle" and "Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Medicine". For postraduate students, I teach at the Specialty, Mastar and Doctorate level, Statistics, epidemiology and research methodology subjects.
I'm a researcher with epidemiological focus about different topics of importance for Public Health, such as violence during date, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Infectious and Tropical Diseases (Chagas Disease). Integral Attention for patients with DM2, Dropout of Social Service in Medical students, Risk factors among workers, etc..
